The stations.  With their many system enhancements and space-saving configuration, LEITNER’s compact stations combine functionality and ease of maintenance with an attractive design. LEITNER’s modular concept can be implemented for all types of stations, including drive and/or tension stations, return stations and middle stations.

Integrated grip maintenance on the turnaround.  With new methods of surface treatment available, carriers and grips are now much better able to better suited for exposure to the elements. As a result, carriers no longer need to be taken off the line at the close of operations every day. Regular grip inspection is still required, however, and for this purpose LEITNER now offers the option of an integrated maintenance point on the terminal turnaround. That means real savings in time and labor costs as grip maintenance is performed with the carriers on the line. And the integrated system makes a separate maintenance shed superfluous. This innovative solution is a further contribution to the low environmental impacts, maintenance-friendly design and overall economics of LEITNER installations.

Comfortable chairs.  The LEITNER chairs – whether in the quad, or six- or eight-seater version – offer the ultimate in passenger comfort and are available in option with seat heating. Functionality and aesthetics are combined in the LEITNER chair canopies, which are the perfect choice for low-temperature operations, windy conditions and chairlifts with a above-average line lengths. The pronounced convexity of the canopy and the use of high-grade transparent Polycarbonat ensure a light and airy feeling for passengers.

The comfortable Diamond and Ruby gondolas. Designed by Pininfarina, the innovative Diamond gondola offers a truly comfortable and enjoyable ride with maximum freedom of movement. The gondola comes in various versions for 4-8 passengers and in 155, 190 and 210 centimeter ceiling heights. The generous use of tinted glazing ensures unrestricted all-round views. Additional customization is available through a wide range of options, including seat heating, ski racks, hinged windows on all sides, ventilation systems, individual choice of finish inside and out, and a wide selection of colors for the floor and for the materials on the seats and backrests. Plus the Diamond is a smooth operator in strong winds.
Based on the successful performance of the Diamond and also developed in collaboration with Pininfarina, the circular 210 cm high Ruby gondola is designed to carry 8 passengers.

Safety first.  The many passenger and employee safety features incorporated in the terminals and on the line in the interest of passenger and employee safety  include sophisticated terminal monitoring systems, balancer travel control, twist protection, cable catchers designed to permit grip passage, and independent standby drives.
A major contribution to safety is made by the extremely reliable grip with the “Made in Europe” label. Simple and intelligent design engineering is the key to the ultimate in reliability. The grip opens and closes without the use of cams, or complicated levers and linkage. In the neutral position the grip is closed. There is no dead center to overcome. In addition, grip force remains constant even when rope diameter changes (e.g. at the splice).

Modern carrier parking systems.  Telemix installations are available with a wide variety of carrier parking solutions: with the parking rails in the basement or at terminal level, to the rear or side of the building, with manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic carrier handling, and at maximum rope speed.
